Internal checks
These are internal checks PhaseFolio ran in May 2026 on a small set of oncology programs. They are not a validation of the model and were not peer reviewed. The model uses published values, and every value can be changed in the asset modeler.
01Two signals, one small set of programs
What we saw, and what the model does with each signal today.
We looked at whether two drug-specific signals lined up with the known outcomes of a small set of oncology programs. The table says what we saw and what the model does with each signal today.
| Signal | Context | What we saw | What the model does | Record |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Biomarker quality | NSCLC · Phase II/III | Lined up with outcomes | Uses the published Schwaederle 2016 values (1.35× genomic, 0.85× protein-only) for oncology solid tumor at Phase II/III, after review. | JSON |
| Phase 1 objective response rate (ORR magnitude) | Oncology solid tumor · Phase II/III | Added little | Shown as a flag beside the valuation. Does not change PoS. | JSON |
02Write-up
Drug-specific signals in oncology: an internal check (May 2026)
An internal check of two drug-specific signals on 85 oncology programs with known outcomes. Biomarker quality lined up with outcomes; Phase 1 response rate added little. It is a dated record, not a validation of the model or peer-reviewed research. The model uses the published biomarker values, and every value can be changed.
What these checks are not
A dated record, not a validation of the model. A public evaluation will be published only when it is designed and signed by qualified statistics and bioinformatics staff. See the model card.
