SEC EDGAR Deal-Term Extraction (Retired)
PhaseFolio retired its SEC EDGAR deal-term source on 2026-09-27. The rNPV wizard no longer suggests deal terms from SEC filings, and the query_sec_deal_terms tool is gone. Scenarios that accepted a suggestion before retirement keep their source attribution, and every earlier version of this methodology stays available as a frozen snapshot.
01Status
PhaseFolio retired the SEC EDGAR deal-term source on 2026-09-27. New scenarios no longer receive deal-term suggestions from SEC filings, and the public tool and endpoints that served them have been removed. Deal-structure inputs are analyst assumptions.
02What stays
- Saved scenarios. A scenario that accepted SEC-suggested terms before retirement keeps its source attribution: comparable count, match level, cohort, medians, and accession numbers.
- Signed exports. Exports stamped with an earlier methodology version or with the
sec-deal-terms@2026-Q3dataset still verify from their stored stamps. - Earlier versions of this page. Each published version remains available as an immutable snapshot, listed on this page.
